The chisel was purchased by the Turku Museum Center collection in 1948.\nA three-dimensional model was created using an Artec Space Spider 3D scanner with two scans. The original polygon network has been simplified from 7,247,298 polygons to 450,000 polygons.\nThe digitization was produced by a joint venture between the Department of Archaeology at the University of Turku, the Turku Museum Center, and the Aboa Vetus et Ars Nova Museum for the three-dimensional digitization of archaeological finds in 2020.
