A Bronze Age axe has been discovered in Lankila, Masku, Finland, in April 1941. The axe is now part of the Turun Museum's collection. A 3D model was created using an Artec Space Spider 3D scanner with two scans. The original polygon mesh was simplified from 10,310,856 polygons to 450,000 polygons. The digitization project was a joint effort between the Department of Archaeology at the University of Turku, the Turun Museum, and the Aboa Vetus et Ars Nova Museum in Finland.
