TM5 cutter temporary fix
thingiverse
I've been using my Thermomix TM5 extensively, which caused significant wear on the softer part of the gear coupling to the motor, ultimately resulting in incomplete cutting and mixing, particularly towards the bottom of the bowl. Unfortunately, I couldn't order a replacement because it was out of stock due to COVID-19-related production delays. To temporarily resolve this issue, I designed a makeshift solution by printing five nylon washers with a 1mm thickness using my 3D printer. Then, I carefully cut them in one place using a Stanley knife to fit snugly onto the axle. For added lubrication, I applied some vegetable oil to the washers, which surprisingly resolved the problem for now and hopefully until the replacement part is available.
