I built this mount specifically for my girlfriend's truck and realized the width needs to be trimmed down by a hair - 1/8 inch or so should do the trick to get it fitted perfectly in place. It works just fine as is, so I haven't felt the need to make any adjustments. I drilled holes into the design, anticipating potential overheating issues with that 65-watt radio, but fortunately, it hasn't been a problem yet. The holes are actually designed for fans if heating does become an issue down the line.
