I downloaded the Geetech Rostock Delta LED strip clip by Quadsequence because it matched my Jaycar TL4100 delta perfectly. So, I promptly printed it out and was ready to go. Unfortunately, the pillar supports from Geetech were much larger than expected, so I needed to make some adjustments. I imported them into Tinkercad for editing and got to work. I filled in the holes, shortened the arms, and reduced the overall width to fit my ebay LED strip. I even added 7.8mm holes to ensure a snug fit on the 8mm poles. I tried attaching the LED strips using cheap adhesive but it kept coming off. Then, I attempted to use superglue, but ended up getting stuck to everything - literally! So, I resorted to cable ties and managed to secure the LEDs in place between the gap of the lights. Next, I wired them underneath to the 12V input source on my duinotech board. The LED strips do experience a slight pulsing when the heater bed is at the right temperature, so I'm thinking of adding a capacitor to filter it out. Viewing the build process in progress has been super helpful and highlights any irregularities - like the excessive amounts of glue on my bed! It's also nice to know that you won't need the light shining directly into your eyes. Edit: I'll probably shorten the arms even further since they clashed with my large print model (150mm diameter) and the motor kept getting in the way. I had to unclip them for that print, but losing another centimeter should do the trick.
