TL SMOOTHER HOLDER 2020 EXTRUSION AND ANYCUBIC PREDATOR

<p>This is a remix from SolidRye. I have included pictures of the TL smoothers I have. They did not fit in SolidRye's holder due to the pins protruding on the bottom side of the circuit board. I modified the holder to have openings so they would sit flat. Also, the quality control on the circuit boards was a bit off and I had to size the holes about 1mm smaller.</p> <p>Printing SolidRyes part was not easy and would have required supports. I changed the design to be mounted to the extrusion with 2 bolts and 2 extrusion nuts. It now sits flat on the bed and can be printed without supports.</p> <p>I put 2 dabs of hot melt glue in opposite corners to help hold each board. Pics show everything.</p> <p>Note to self and others, in the future, I would buy TL Smoothers with heatsinks. The diodes get really warm and really need the heatsinks. I got a deal on mine for $5 for 3, but next time I would spend more and get heatsinks on them. The diodes are too small and too close together to use stepper motor heatsinks. I will now have to look for different size heatsinks I can use.</p> <p>Source file in Sketchup is included in case you want to modify.</p> Category: 3D Printer Parts
