I needed a custom case to fit BIGTREETECH type TL-Smoothers with a 25x25x10mm heat sink perfectly. After discovering some excellent cases online, one that caught my eye had "no derivatives" licensing, so I asked the creator if they would allow me to remix it. However, I got impatient and decided to design my own case instead. As I started designing this project, I realized I wanted a few more features like 45-degree mounting and heat sink optimization. This is what I came up with, and I've successfully printed it in ABS using a 102% scale for better fitment. There are two versions of the case: one with "mouse ears" for improved bed adhesion and another without them. For those who want to remix this design easily, I've uploaded the step files as well. In designing this project, I utilized several resources: Customizable Standoff Generator by snemetz (April 29, 2016) - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1528494 TL-Smoother (Makerbase) Placeholder by JMDesigns (February 10, 2018) - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2789501 I also drew inspiration from another design that didn't have friendly licensing terms at the time but has since been updated to allow remixing. To assemble this case, I needed M4 screws and t-nuts for mounting, as well as six M3 x 12mm screws and nuts for securing the cover. These are similar to the heat sinks I'm using, which are attached using thermal glue: https://www.amazon.com/Easycargo-Heatsink-Anodized-25x25x10mm-25mmx25mmx10mm/dp/B07B642856 I installed it inside the base frame of my Anycubic Linear Plus, but I've since moved the motherboard outside the base, so I'm not sure if there's enough clearance using the stock motherboard.
