The Ultimaker main board will soon be replaced by a Rumba board. It features dual DD2 extruders for direct drive, with E3D metal hotends and cooling fans for fast heating. An LCD controller is included, and you can use software like Prontface, Cura or open-source alternatives. The printer uses 1.75mm ABS or PLA filament and has a fast filament change function. Electronics and power supply are housed in a steel cabinet. The heat bed is made of borosilicate glass and measures 300x300x320mm, with a 24V Mk2a PCB heater that can reach up to 140°C. Layers can be as thin as 0.1-0.4mm, and the printer is reinforced with steel side plates and CNC aluminum connecting parts. It comes in modular packaging.
