The Typhoon-class ballistic missile submarine stands out as the largest submarine ever constructed, boasting 2 powerful nuclear reactors, 6 advanced torpedo tubes, and 20 state-of-the-art missile silos designed to carry the R-39 Rif SLBM. This formidable underwater vessel is widely regarded as one of the most destructive submarines in its class, with a total of 6 Typhoons produced. Currently, 2 of these behemoths are docked in Severodvinsk, awaiting restoration - TK-20 Severstal and TK-17 Arkhangelsk, both named after Russian cities. The remaining operable Typhoon, TK-208 Dmitry Donskoi, remains on active duty with the Russian Navy.
