The City tiles are 300mm x 300mm tile. While these tiles are specifically designed to accommodate one of the buildings linked below they can be used with one of the platform tiles that accommodates the free building sample https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/titanstructure-dark-future-10mm-scale-buildings-for-titanic-battles-type-00 or any other terrain piece of your choice. (As an example, see the gunship (not included) on the landing pad (not included) in the Cityscape photo. The City Tiles have multiple road layout options and multiple platform options are included. The files provided are 1/4 of a tile. 4 pieces need to be printed and joined using the clips to make a single tile. If you are using the platforms with the tile, I recommend that you print at least one of the quarters with the leg support to add additional support to the flat building platform. There are straight plinth sections and 270 degree corners (inside corner) tiles for the medium and high plinth designs that allow a large degree of flexibility in tile design allowing plinth sections to span across multiple 300x300 tiles so that raised city areas can be created. The tile has been deliberately split into 150mm x 150mm quarters to allow for printing on smaller bed printers. The road sections are designed to be printed separately in order to gain a rough top texture from a flexible print surface. If you are printing on glass or other very smooth surface they should be textured with a light cross hatch sanding. The road tiles should be glued to the base but leave the connector pieces unattached to add flexibility should you wish to change layouts. The clips are quite rigid and hold the tiles tightly but can be difficult to remove completely. They can of course be pulled out with pliers, but that will likely damage the clip and a new one will need to be used. (the tiles are not really intended to be re-configured on a quarter by quarter basis very often but it is possible if required). The clips are ideally printed using a skirt for better bed adhesion. No supports, skirts or rafts are required for the tile components. This pack will also includes offset and half tile designs so that lines of sight can be broken up as desired. .
