Titan Extruder mount for Rostock Max
thingiverse
This is a custom mount designed specifically for e3D's Titan Extruder, engineered to serve as a direct bolt on replacement for SeeMeCNC's EzStruder. To ensure secure attachment, a third hole needs to be drilled at the top, providing additional stability to the assembly. A 4 mm bit was used to make this precise cut after securing the two bottom holes in place. The result is a sturdy and reliable setup. The mount perfectly fits over the stepper motor, allowing the Titan extruder to bolt securely to the other side using its included hardware. This design creates a 2.5mm gap between the motor and extruder, meticulously aligning the gears as outlined in e3D's instructions for optimal performance. The final product is an aesthetically pleasing and rock-solid mount. Designed in Fusion 360, this project marked my first foray into using this powerful CAD software.
