titan extruder bracket for 20x60 extrusion
thingiverse
This mount allows for easy adaptation of the titan bracket to a heavily modified Mendel Max 2.\nA piece of 20x60 V-slot is used as the X-carriage/extruder setup.\nPrint one set, secure with M4 screws. I'm using a 34mm deep Titan extruder from Lulzbot.\nMounting hardware:\n4-6 M5 x 10mm low-profile screws\n4-6 T-nuts\n4-6 M5 washers\nNormal profile M5 screws may not fit without drilling or carving the bottom one.\nFeel free to modify the SCAD. Post comments with changes or suggestions, or post as a remix. I offset the M4 slots for better clearance around the cooling fins.\nI've printed with this mount several times; it's no longer in development - works well for me so far.\nPrint settings:\nPrinter brand: RepRap\nPrinter: Mendel Max 2 (heavily modified)\nRafts: Not necessary\nSupports: None\nResolution: .2-.3 mm\nInfill: 30-50%\nNotes: I use PET filament, with 4 perimeters and 30% infill - feels very solid. Second print is with Tech-G, another PET blend (I prefer it so far - prints nicely).
