I didn't find anything suitable at the time, so I designed my own solution. This design is compatible with any printer that uses Prusa-style rods spaced 45mm apart. This carriage incorporates the motor mount in order to save weight, and the only screw that isn't already included in the Aero kit is the one holding the radial fan. The motor is positioned close to the rails, and the assembly is designed to maximize z-height. I've been traveling extensively for work and vacation, which explains the delay in updating this information. I've added a step file for Mark 2, allowing users to make modifications if desired. To print this design, simply print it without supports. The two ribs inside the fan duct serve as natural supports and should be removed. Old Version: Known issues with MK1 fixed in MK2: - If binder clips are used to secure the printing surface to the heatbed, they may collide with the carriage. - The belt loops are slightly offset from their actual plane of operation. This does not appear to cause any dimensional defects in printed objects. - The fan duct is positioned too close to the heater cartridge. It appears that E3D's STEP files differ from the actual object.
