A Solo Upgrade to My Pelvic Style Fan: Shedding Weight and Boosting Performance I've taken the liberty of modifying my original "pelvic" style 40mm blower fan design, opting for a single-sided configuration to strip away excess weight from my effector. This streamlined approach not only reduces the overall mass but also allows for improved airflow. The accompanying photo showcases this model printed in robust weed-wacker trimmer line nylon, demonstrating its exceptional toughness and durability. To enhance airflow directionality and simplify support removal, I've introduced a "b" version featuring beveled side air exhaust ports. This design tweak promises to deliver better airflow performance while making it easier to remove supports during printing. Feel free to give it a try!
