TISHAI is a chess variant conceived by James Ernest for players who relish conflict between two rival kingdoms. Players take on the roles of two warring nations, each with its own distinct strategy and objective. The game unfolds on a 7×7 grid, where pieces move in a manner similar to their counterparts in traditional chess, but with some notable exceptions. Wizards (bishops) derive power from captured Pawns, fueling their potency, while the ultimate goal remains to capture both of your adversary's Towers, thereby securing a decisive victory.
