Alternatively, alter the font color to your preference. Historically, tires were initially metal bands on wooden wheels before rubber was developed. Early rubber tires were solid rather than pneumatic. Today, pneumatic tires are employed across numerous vehicle types like cars, bicycles, motorcycles, buses, trucks, heavy machinery, and aircraft. Metal tires remain in use for locomotives and railcars, while solid rubber (or other polymers) persist in non-automotive applications such as casters, carts, lawnmowers, and wheelbarrows.
