Tippmann TMC StG 44 shroud
thingiverse
This shroud design draws inspiration from the STG 44 sturmgewehr, so feel free to interpret its resemblance as you see fit. I personally prefer shrouds without rails, and this one certainly sets my TMC apart. The added uniqueness is a bonus. Note that this design will only work in conjunction with a 7/8 Inch Diameter barrel. If you're planning to use an A5 barrel, consider pairing it with a T98 adapter in the shroud. On a separate note, I've been working on an iron sight for this design, but it's still a work in progress. One challenge I'm facing is clamping it securely onto the barrel. Creating more designs like this one has been a blast, and I'm already looking forward to tackling future projects. Check out the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=le8R16lN8-E UPDATES: October 13, 2019 - Added larger sizes I've discovered that 7/8 barrels can vary in size, so it's possible that this design may not fit your specific barrel. To troubleshoot the issue, I recommend printing a small test part (the front of the shroud) to check the fit and determine which size you need. In the future, I plan to develop a freak kit system for my shroud designs, allowing them to accommodate multiple barrels. However, there wasn't enough room in this design to incorporate that feature.
