Tippmann TiPX Core Holster Barrel Plug Adapter
thingiverse
The Core holster for the Tippmann TiPX is designed to hold the TiPX barrel plug, such that during a draw, the barrel plug is automatically removed from the TiPX. Once that happens, however, you cannot re-holster the TiPX with the barrel plug in place. You must manually re-add the barrel plug after holstering. This is an annoying extra step. The adapter I created holds the barrel plug in a fixed position, allowing you to re-holster the TiPX with the barrel plug automatically in place. The adapter is sized the same as the holster, so it only slightly elongates the holster. Notes: (1) this is a tight fit so it does not move around. You will likely find that trying to clip this adapter in place is a bit of work. I used PETG to print, so the clip is slightly flexible without breaking, enabling a tight clip that holds without moving. (2) I used a zip-tie to hold the barrel plug in place.
