Tippmann Supressor

I discovered SAMLEGO2's Tippmann 98 Suppressor (Smart Parts 14inch barrel) and was really drawn to its concept. I own a Tippman Gryphon FX, so I made some adjustments to the size of my barrel but unfortunately it ended up being slightly too small which prompted me to create this derivative and modify it to a greater extent. The one thing that didn't sit well with me about his design was the amount of effort required to mount and remove the suppressor from the gun's barrel, so I came up with the idea for an adapter that stays on the gun and allows you to simply screw the suppressor on and off. I opened up the front of the adapter's inside diameter to 22.125mm and the rear to 22.25mm so it fits snugly onto the barrel without binding. The adapter also gives you the freedom to experiment with different suppressor sizes and designs. PLEASE NOTE: As mentioned before, the adapter was designed for my Gryphon FX, so you may need to adjust it to fit your gun's barrel. When SAMLEGO2 originally wrote about this design, he said it should reduce sound by about 50%. I can't say exactly how much it reduces noise but it does make a noticeable difference given its size. I'm currently in the process of designing new suppressors and experimenting with different sizes before moving on to internal designs. For this particular project, I used cotton wool as suggested by SAMLEGO2 but I also want to experiment with steel wool to see what the difference might be.
