Tipping bucket - rainfall sensor

I designed a straightforward tipping bucket sensor for measuring rainfall. Impulses are captured by a standard reed sensor. I opted to utilize a Sigfox modem to transmit the collected data, but it's also feasible to employ any type of microcontroller and wireless modem or simply wire. The device has been in operation for nearly a year now and functions exceptionally well.
