Tipping bucket rain gauge

Mine 3d printed funnel diameter is a precise 95mm, or 9.5cm in length, with a radius of 4.75cm. Calculating the funnel's area requires a simple formula: S = pi * r^2. By plugging in the values, we get (3.14 * (4.75 * 4.75)) = 70.88cm^2. To calibrate my syringe for accurate measurements, I use a standard syringe with a diameter of 24mm. A volume of 24ml yields exactly 9 tips. Dividing the syringe's diameter by the funnel's area gives us a measurement of 0.338cm or 3.38mm. Breaking this down further by dividing it among 9 tips, we arrive at an astonishing 0.375mm per tip, equivalent to approximately 0.0147 inches. I employed a body from an air vent adapter measuring 100mm in length for my project.
