I designed this easy-to-print tippe top for work purposes. Check out the video of it in action at https://youtu.be/33-QsVCAcXE. Print Settings: Printer: I used a Makergear M2 to print this model. Rafts: No rafts were needed, making the print process smoother. Supports: Yes, supports were required for the sphere to ensure its stability during printing. Resolution: The printer's resolution was set to 0.2 mm for optimal results. Infill: I opted for an infill of 40% to achieve a good balance between weight and print time. Notes: For the best results, I recommend using the tippetop.stl file that includes a cooling tower feature. Additionally, be aware that the sphere requires support during printing. Post-Printing: Post Processing: After printing, you can glue the two parts together, but they should fit nicely due to the printer's precision. Tips for Improving Performance: The tippe top works best with a smooth surface, so it's recommended to sand the sphere and axis topside after printing. This will ensure optimal performance and prevent any issues during use.
