Put your tools in order on the workbench and have all your solder tips within easy reach. I designed this support to attach at the rear of a soldering stand like the 8586 model. The lid is optional - install it if you want, but be sure to add some wire to the hinge and glue it down as needed. EDIT: I've switched to another type of solder stand and 3D printed a new tip support model.
