TinyWing Motor Mount

Put a motor on your TinyWing!! This mount is tailored for the Tinywing, a small flying wing measuring about two feet in length (~60cm) made from foamboard and designed by Cacomistle. The design was posted on FliteTest.com at this URL: http://www.flitetest.com/articles/tinywing. He didn't provide a printed motor mount file so I created one myself. Given my experience with submarines, I overdesign every component, making it solid enough for such a tiny motor mount to work reliably. It was designed to hold the Hobby King C2222 Micro brushless Outrunner 2850kv motor. This tiny yet powerful engine is sufficient for flying the TinyWing. More details about this product can be seen on http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=43360. Instructions: Printed in ABS at a thickness of 0.2mm and 5mm brim with no support used during the print. To make the motor mounts easier to handle, it's suggested that you print several of them together as this prevents overloading any single area on the hotend for too long, also increasing the stockpile of available motor mounts that can be made for even smaller planes. Once printed and cleaned up properly if necessary, the motor mount gets fastened securely to the underside of the wing's back as seen in these pics above by a strip of super glue.
