I got my TinyWhoop.com Race Gates and, while I loved the gates, the stands were terrible.\nSo I got creative and came up with these custom stands.\nI really wanted to use the fiberglass poles that came with the gates and take advantage of them since they were pretty nice poles, but I needed to do something with the clamps.\nThe clamps I used are "ACCO 1-1/4" Medium Binder Clips". They were what was available. I am not a clamp expert, I just looked at what they had and picked these. I would think that any inch and a quarter clip would work perfectly.\nI also used a 3M screw in the top to hold the clamp slot closed. Most guys who have quads probably had a few of those screws laying around since that is the Chinese's favorite size for Mini Quads.\nThe holes in the bottom of the print are designed for storage. One of the things that I really love about these gates is how nicely they fold up and how little room they take. I tried to do the same with my custom print.\nThis is made with TPU to allow for the clamp to flex and the poles to grip securely.\nI hope you enjoy this upgrade!\nKT\nUPDATE!!!\nAfter several requests for a 2 pole version and some testing, I added a 2 pole version. It has the same tight storage holes in the bottom as well.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: My hacked DaVinci printer\nResolution: .3mm layer resolution\nInfill: 20% infill setting\nYou need to print this in TPU or a flexible material.
