Tinytag TGP-4104 temperature logger case

<p>This model (3 parts) is a replacement case for the original case of these temperature loggers:</p><p><a href="https://www.geminidataloggers.com/de/data-loggers/tinytag-plus-2/tgp-4104">https://www.geminidataloggers.com/de/data-loggers/tinytag-plus-2/tgp-4104</a></p><p>The case design consists of three parts:</p><ul><li>The case which houses the electronics</li><li>The lid, which is attached with four screws and sealed with an o-ring</li><li>The bottom center connector where the usb cable is plugged in for configuration or download, which is sealed with a screw-on cap when not in use</li></ul><p>Prerequisites:</p><ul><li>The original logger electronics and related components.</li><li>I wasn't able to remove the USB connector sockets from the original case, so I had to get new sockets for the new case.</li><li>Superglue</li></ul><p>Assembly instructions:</p><ul><li>All components need obviously to be transferred over from the original case. Some parts are secured with glue which makes it somewhat difficult, just swear and pry.</li><li>Solder wires on the new USB connector sockets.</li><li>Install the sockets in the printed round USB connector and secure them with superglue.</li><li>Install the connector in the case and secure it with superglue.</li><li>Install the sensor connector (metal side connector) in the case using the original gasket and nut.</li><li>Install the electronics, the nuts and the o-ring on the lid.</li><li>Put the lid on and install the screws.</li><li>Install the original label with the serial number on the side of the case in the recessed area.</li><li>Print off and attach the provided logo pictures on the lid.</li></ul><p>And there is a refurbished Tinytag available to continue logging…</p><p>Since the loggers are meant to be used in unpleasant environments it should be made from ABS, ASA, PETG or the likes of materials.</p>
