Tiny Whoop / Inductrix motor mount fix
thingiverse
After multiple crashes one of the motor mounts finally gave out and I didn't want to shell out for an entire new frame. I decided to design a two-piece motor mount saver that would restore the functionality of the motor mount without breaking the bank. Here's how you can fix your motor mount using my design: First, disconnect the motor and take it out completely. Next, slide the 3D printed motor mount saver from the bottom up. Then, apply a small drop of superglue to the top and cap it off with another piece. Wait for a few minutes until everything has set. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer Model: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: None needed Supports: None required Infill Percentage: 20% Notes: Layer Height - 0.2mm, Wall Thickness - 0.8mm, Print Speed - 50mm/s Post-Printing: Glue the parts together and screw in the motor mount saver onto the motor mount. Apply a few drops of superglue to the top and cap it off with another piece, letting everything sit for a few minutes until it sets.
