Updated Version Weighs Only 0.4 Grams! The new version of VA1100 Housing Minimal 1.1.stl tips the scales at an incredibly light 0.4 grams! Made from PLA, it features a 20% infill and offers the bare minimum in terms of protection. If this level of fragility doesn't cut it for you, be sure to check out VA1100Housingv1.1.stl, which boasts a slightly more robust design at roughly 0.5-0.6 grams. To customize your camera angle, apply multiple thin strips of double-sided tape to the bottom front section of the housing as needed, taking care to suit your kit's setup for FPV racing. Take a look at the PFG 110mm CF frame, designed specifically for 7mm motors. This build features an accessory plate and uses Blade Nano QX FPV flight controllers. We also tested it with stock Hubsan X4 H107L 7mm motors, which, interestingly, perform significantly better than stock. To this end, I designed a rather spacious VA1100 Housing with an open area for double-sided tape, thereby preventing jello effects when attaching it. I'm happy to report that I've yet to encounter any jello issues. However, for extra security, I utilize loom rubber bands from Walmart that weigh almost nothing. Given my fondness for keeping the design on the large side, I opted for a slightly larger housing. However, if you prefer a more snug fit, consider scaling down your print by 2-5%. Please keep in mind that you'll need to solder carefully when working with fragile power cables from the VTX. Finally, rest assured that this housing is fully compatible with antenna savers, ensuring smooth operation during flight sessions.
