Tiny Whoop Beta65/75 Roll Bar

Tiny Whoop Beta65/75 Roll Bar

After several Whoop crashes and numerous destroyed canopies, I decided to design an internal roll bar to prevent the thin canopy from collapsing during impacts. This roll bar was specifically designed for the BetaFPV Beta65 and Beta75 models but may also work with other canopies. It can be printed on most printers without support as the bridging requirements are minimal. I've successfully printed it on my i3 Plus at speeds of up to 100mm/s and a layer height of 0.3mm without any issues, and it only takes about five minutes. The weight is less than one gram. Update 4/12/18 I added a second version to support the BetaFPV Betacube FC that comes with a plastic mount featuring a ridge parallel to the mounting holes. To accommodate this new design, I moved the roll bar forward of the ridge while keeping the mounting holes in their original positions. This newer version requires slightly more effort to install but functions perfectly. I believe it may also be necessary for later versions of the Beta65 and Beta75 models; however, please verify your flight controller and camera mount before installation.
