Tiny Whoop 65 Canopy Minimalist
thingiverse
Minimalist Canopy for Tiny Whoop 65mm. Designed with simplicity in mind, I created it flat to minimize complexity. To print this design without issues, you'll need TPU, polyFlex or flexible filament. If you only have PLA, a hairdryer might help smooth out the printing process. I haven't tested this method, so please let me know if it works for you. It takes shape by simply screwing it onto the frame. Protects the lens and VTX with its unique design, which also makes the canopy stiffer in case of frontal crashes. Made from polyFlex, it will never break - guaranteed! Its natural lightweight design is thanks to its simple shape, making it even lighter than the original canopy (1.25g), version 1 (1.05g) and version 1-light (0.8g). Features a natural aerodynamic shape that enhances airflow around your VTX. Helps with turtle mode by providing additional height. Print time: just 10 minutes in your 3D printer. Easy installation, no extra screws or holes required. Easy maintenance for years to come. This canopy is designed specifically for 65mm frames. Since I only have access to smaller frames, there's no design available for larger ones. You can modify the step files using your preferred CAO software. Alternatively, you may find it easier to apply a length scale modification in your slicer, with a ratio of 75/65 = 1.15. I'm not sure if this design will provide sufficient stiffness.
