I had a concept for a desktop tiki lamp that would connect directly into your USB port. Inside this unique device would be a compact fan and LED light, both positioned upwards at a piece of silk fabric, which would oscillate gently in the breeze and create an illusion of a flame. This effect, although not entirely new, had never been applied in such a way before - adding a beachy ambiance to your office cubicle. I envisioned that it would be a huge hit with tourists visiting Hawaii, who would undoubtedly snap up truckloads of these lamps. As soon as I completed the initial prototype and plugged everything in, I encountered a major setback: the fan wasn't powerful enough to make the "flame" flutter convincingly. I'm certain that I could have resolved this issue by upgrading to a more robust fan if my focus hadn't wavered so drastically. It's now been two whole months since I last worked on it, and other projects have captured my attention, leaving me wondering if anyone else might enjoy tinkering with this idea. Please note that you are not allowed to sell or distribute any original versions or derivatives of this concept without first obtaining my explicit permission, as I may very well decide to revisit this project in the future.
