Inspired by the iconic TIE fighter, The Tiny TIE is designed as a DIY 3D printable performance indoor first person view (FPV) TIE racing platform. It performs similarly to the Inductrix and the Tiny Whoop. With FPV, you can fly the drone while watching the video feed from the on-board camera in near real-time, giving you a thrilling sense of piloting the quadcopter. The wings act as landing gear, protecting the props against most accidental impacts, making it incredibly durable. The design has been optimized for stability and responsiveness, ensuring a smooth flying experience. You can find a number of flight controller options here: https://amzn.to/2xfk4VV Propellers: You need 4 Blade/Inductrix/Tiny Whoop propellers, 2 CW and 2 CCW rotating, with many choices of colors and sets: https://amzn.to/2NdWV0V Motors: The Tiny TIE requires 4 of 6x15mm coreless brushed motors, 2 that rotate CW and 2 that rotate CCW, with some options available here: https://amzn.to/2MwxWkb Camera: Although the Tiny TIE can be built without FPV support, it's really more fun when you fly with FPV. To implement FPV, you will need a FPV compatible 5.8GHz camera and transmitter, with some options to consider here: https://amzn.to/2MzeEe5 To mount the camera on the flight controller, you will need the appropriate camera mount. STLs for the camera mount are included but you can find other custom mounts for different cameras on Thingiverse.
