I love the Makerfaire robot, but wanted to see him print in less than half an hour with movable joints. I also wanted him to display "HL ModTech" on his chest and "GO WO" on his feet. After a good bit of tinkering with MeshMixer and TinkerCAD's new beta, I came up with a version worth sharing. The one in the picture is actually scaled up 10% because I found that the original size didn't print perfectly every time - sometimes the walls were just too thin. This one has been bulletproof so far and still completes in about 30 minutes on my Replicator 2. I'm printing with PLA. I've tried to print it on my 2x, but my heated bed makes that bottom layer pretty glossy and fused, so the joints haven't been movable there. I'm pretty sure it's a bed height issue on my end, though.
