Tiny Linear Sled
thingiverse
A sleek adjustable sled designed to enhance versatility, this linear setup can be customized with a twist knob to accommodate your specific needs. For added convenience, I've engineered the system to be modular, allowing you to stack multiple units for an XY base configuration. Instructions: Due to material cooling times, it's recommended that you print two knobs at once. You will require the following components: * 2-56 bolts approximately 3/4" in length * 2-56 nuts * JB-Weld or a suitable epoxy To assemble the system: 1. Securely fasten the 2-56 nut into the top plate by using a screwdriver to gently push it down until the holes of both the plate and nut align. 2. Carefully insert the 2-56 bolt into the twist knob, potentially needing to use a drill to widen the hole slightly. Subsequently, apply JB-Weld or epoxy to securely bond the bolt to the knob. Ensure the bolt remains straight during this process to guarantee a smooth assembly. 3. Test and verify the assembly, taking note of the snug fit between components.
