Made a wine stopper by combining the Tiny Gnome created by tbuser with a pedestal and plug. To complete this project, you'll need to purchase silicone bottle stoppers that fit snugly over the plug. You can find these at Woodcraft. The link is https://www.woodcraft.com/products/woodturning-project-kit-for-silicone-bottle-stoppers-10-piece. With silicone stoppers in place, you won't have to worry about food safety since only the silicone comes into contact with your wine. Update: April 1, 2018 - no joke intended. I've uploaded an updated model in STL format. The STL file features a slightly longer plug than its OBJ counterpart. Both versions work fine, but I recommend using the STL file.
