Tiny Flex Extruder Reloaded
thingiverse
I really appreciate the simplicity of the design of the Tiny Flex Extruder. Unfortunately, it didn't fit my e3Dv6 printer properly. To make it easy to replace or upgrade, I want the extruder to be a self-contained unit that includes the hotend. This design only requires one screw to hold the idler lever in place, but that makes it prone to bending under pressure. What's more, it lacks adjustable idler pressure and a quick-release feature. This redesign incorporates a quick release, adjustable spring tension, and another quick-release mechanism, as well as a clamp for attaching the extruder unit to any groove-mount hotend you choose. Simply attach your own clamp to hold the extruder unit securely in place on your carriage. You'll need M3x25 screws to fasten the extruder unit to the motor, plus a spring, an M3 threaded rod and nuts, one 624 bearing, and a single DIN912 M4x10 or 12 screw to secure it. Don't forget to use some PTFE Tubing to guide the filament smoothly through the extruder. Print Settings Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 60% Notes: I printed this model using PLA.
