Tiny epic western Board game storage
thingiverse
Ever played the game Tiny Epic Western and had a wish to ditch those pesky plastic bags that come with it? Well, look no further because this storage solution is just what you need. This storage system simplifies the storage of tokens, dealer chip, and cards by introducing a box design with lids to keep tokens safely stored. Two meeple racks are included to keep those little guys safe, a card rack to prevent cards from sliding around, and a small box for the dealer chip. The dealer chip is often misplaced and makes a racket, so it's practical to have it in its own box. This storage solution offers a long-term storage life option compared to those annoying grip lock plastic bags that come with the game. At least, this is what I got; experiences may vary. What you need: 1. Token storage box + Lid 2. Card rack 3. 2 Meeple racks or 1 Twin meeple rack Optional: 1. Dealer chip storage box + Lid If you think you can live with the dealer chip being loose in the box, you don't need this one. Although, if you can live without it, why do you need a new and durable storage solution? Specs for my printouts: Printer: M3D Software: M3D beta version 2016-05-06-v.14.2.6-WIN Mat: PLA, Deep Lemon Quality: Medium Infill: Medium Layer height: 0.15 Speed: 35mm/s No supports needed. I'm grateful for feedback if you got it. Or just say "hey," "hello," or give me some great financial advice. Notes: The usual, I had bad backlash setting as always so the dealer chip circle might be a little big. This means if you're in the same boat as me, it should fit right in. Some sanding might be required to get the lids to fit optimally because all printers tend to lay down the filament in their own quirky way. As for the meeple rack, not all meeples are created equal; some are bigger than others. I found that using this to our advantage means making the small end of the rack a little smaller. This allows us to use the two fattest of the bunch as "locks" to keep the meeples from sliding out of the rack. This simple solution cuts down on print time and the amount of files you have to print compared to a lid design rack or stack. Print Settings: Printer: M3D Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Low - Extreme Infill: Low - High Use a raft if you have to, but it's not worth the time and filament. Choose your resolution and infill level; more infill and higher res give you better quality prints. Post-Printing: SAAAAANDPAAAAPEER (or use diamond files; I love me some diamond files). How I Designed This I hate plastic bags; that's all there is to it.
