Tiny Dice Tower (no supports needed)
thingiverse
I scaled down the Small Dice Tower to 80% of its original size, transforming it into a sleeker design with a pointed arch at its opening. This bold move eliminated the need for supports during printing, allowing for a smoother and more efficient process. To ensure that the ramps slid seamlessly through the slots, even when printed messily due to their angled nature, I scaled them down slightly. Update: For those who love to throw dice with gusto, I added a funnel on top of the tower that can be printed separately without any supports. This thin shell can be printed at 100% infill and provides a sleek design inspired by Buchnerb's remix. The funnel is easily integrated into the model, making it a must-have for enthusiastic dice throwers. Update 2: I've combined the latest file (tower_and_funnel_combined.stl) with an improved ramp that prevents dice from bouncing back out of the tray and keeps them at the front where they're easy to see. This version is highly recommended for optimal printing results. Print Settings: Printer: Cocoon Create Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Post-Printing Instructions: Ramps: Print two ramps and slide them through the slots, securing them with glue if needed to prevent them from becoming loose.
