I designed a compact 3-axis CNC with dimensions of approximately 2x3x3 using Google Sketchup, but it remains untested to ensure proper printing. To fabricate this mini CNC, simply print the files: MakerBot CNC Main Box, MakerBot CNC X Stage, MakerBot CNC YZ Stage, and MakerBot CNC Z Axis. The required materials are 1/8 solid rod and 1/8 threaded rod for assembly.
