Switching Gears No assembly required - just print and enjoy. Gears should fit snugly onto a 1-centimeter shaft, but not so tightly that kids can't easily attach and remove them without any tools. A small piece of sandpaper or masking tape will help adjust the gear bores and dovetail joints to the perfect tightness. The gears feature 32, 16, and 8 teeth respectively. Calculating gear ratios is a fun challenge left for you to figure out.
