This design was created to meet the needs of a cosplay project, specifically for a functional buckle that could be easily removed while wearing gloves. The buckle incorporates 6 magnets, with corresponding cutouts in the joint between the two parts, allowing for secure attachment and detachment. A clearance of 1.25 inches is also provided for a standard belt width, but it's recommended to avoid using wider belts without making adjustments or scaling the design accordingly. When printing with supports, the area where the belt feeds through may require support, although this is not strictly necessary for a successful print, depending on the filament used and speed settings employed.
