Tin Mans Heart -Wizard Of Oz
thingiverse
My 4-year-old daughter took charge of picking out our entire Halloween wardrobe this year, choosing characters from her favorite movie, The Wizard Of Oz. While the rest of us opted for simple costumes easily found online, my 3-year-old decided I would be the Tin Man - a choice that left me less than thrilled. Determined to create a costume worthy of my daughter's enthusiasm, I began researching the iconic character, gathering reference images and studying every detail of his costume. The heart was a crucial element, so I made it my top priority: finding a prop as accurate as possible from the movie proved impossible, prompting me to design one myself using Fusion 360. Breaking down the heart into three separate pieces allowed for better printing and painting results, which turned out to be a great decision - adding much-needed realism to my costume. Each component was painted separately with fillable primer, then colored with modeling paint before being quickly glued together with crazy glue.
