You'll be able to use an old tin can as a pen holder without risking a cut from the sharp edge of the tin can. A small ridge inside the channel means you'll have to apply some force to clip on the protection, but once it's in place, the tin can shield is nearly impossible to remove. Two versions are available: one for an 84 mm diameter tin can and another for a 100 mm diameter tin can. If you need other diameters, I can create those too.
