Timing Belt Coupler (ANSI MXL)

Timing Belt Coupler (ANSI MXL)

thingiverse

This device connects two ends of an ANSI MXL-sized timing belt, allowing you to create a loop from the belt. It fits snugly onto the belt, potentially requiring a small flathead screwdriver for assistance. This coupling provides a solid joint. For faster creation, it would be ideal to make this parametric in OpenSCAD; however, the attached .sldpart file shows its design in SolidWorks. For printing, orient the model with the open side facing up and opt for a raftless print. However, in this specific orientation, a raft might be beneficial due to limited HBP contact area. The recommended layer height for printing is 0.25mm, as achieved on a Replicator printer.
