Timing Belt Belt
thingiverse
I designed a belt inspired by timing belts. The belt is a single piece printed from flexible filament - I used AmazonBasics TPU. The belt was printed in TPU and then the clips were printed in PLA and inserted into the belt. As a relatively slender guy, I've only created one size so far, which fits between 770-815mm waist sizes. If there's enough interest, I can create additional sizes. This project requires you to print three files: one full belt file, two belt clips, and an optional test square with a clip to ensure your printer can accurately print attachment holes. I drew inspiration from 3DWatches' belt design and MRC's timing belt generator. You can find these designs on Thingiverse: * 3DWatch Belt: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3270948 * MRC GT2 Timing Belt Generator: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3458902 I've only worn the belt for a week so far, but I'll update this description with my experience on how long it lasts.
