I owned a Garmin Forerunner 201 for years, and it's now considered a classic (http://www.outsideonline.com/1998626/garmin-forerunner-201), but it was never optimized for biking. The Timex Cycle Trainer 2.0 is a bike-specific computer that I decided to try out. However, it had two major drawbacks for me. Firstly, the mounting clip did not secure the device firmly in place, so when I pressed a button to change screens, the device would pop out of its mount while riding, which was very awkward. Secondly, I already had a mounting clip designed specifically for my Garmin on my bike. Luckily, enif came up with a custom-designed Garmin mount (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:167082) that saved me! I then modified the design by integrating a mount for the Timex and adding a more secure retainer wedge to prevent it from coming loose while riding. Additionally, I created an updated version of the mount that attaches directly to a t-slot.
