The timer knob was crafted from the ground up within Onshape, specifically tailored for a Tappan oven's unique specifications. It emerged from my 3D printer, constructed from white tough PLA filament, which provided a solid foundation for its future form. Next, I applied a durable heat-resistant coating to ensure it could withstand even the most intense temperatures. While this protective layer might be unnecessary for certain oven types, it's always better to err on the side of caution and provide an extra layer of security against high heat.
