Due to the plastic cracking in this $5 timer, the battery no longer stayed seated beside the battery contacts. I had to build a replacement part that could securely hold the battery in place. First, I built the plug and then attached a small extrusion to secure one side of the battery that was slipping out. The pictures of the timer show exactly where one side of the circle meant to hold the battery has broken away.
