Tilted and sliced double tetrahedron Raspberry Pi 3 case
thingiverse
I was searching for a Raspberry Pi 3 case to house my Home Assistant controller, and I wanted it to fit perfectly next to my upcoming Akita Smart Home. You can read about it on Kickstarter; its shape is essentially a tilted hexagon pillar: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/akita/akita-instant-privacy-for-smart-homes. Unfortunately, nothing caught my eye, so I began designing this unique case myself. This double tetrahedron design is specifically created to sit on a shelf and look appealing. All ports are easily accessible (some do need angled adapters), and they're cleverly hidden at the back for a sleek appearance. The case also features a ventilation system that directs cool air towards the Raspberry Pi and exhausts it out through the back slits for optimal airflow.
