Tilt-Shift Adapter for Pentax 67 to Canon EF
thingiverse
A Tilt-Shift adapter designed for using Pentax 6x7 lenses on Canon EF mount cameras is available. The shift and tilt can be set between plus/minus 17mm and 12.5 degrees respectively. This adapter is used with the Pentax 6x7 1:4 55mm lens and a Canon 6D or 5DM2 camera. However, the grip of the camera may interfere with tilt to the right, but rotating the camera can resolve this limitation for compositions. A lock is integrated into the adapter for the Pentax lens that utilizes a spring from a pen. First, mount the adapter on the camera and ensure it locks securely. Then, insert the Pentax lens with the red marker aligned with the small marker on the adapter, turn to the large marker on top, and make sure it is locked as well. Set the lens to manual aperture operation. This adapter was printed using Cabonfiber PETG at 0.1 mm resolution and a 0.4 mm nozzle for strength and precision, resulting in a very solid adapter. The EF adapter should be printed at 0.1mm layer height without support (EF2 final), while the rest can be printed at 0.15mm. It is essential to ensure excellent layer adhesion due to the weights involved, with the lens weighing 750 grams and the camera weighing 770 grams. All contact areas must be wet sanded with a 400 grid until fitting together and moving smoothly. The height of the adapter should be 40.95 mm from top to lower attachment site after assembly. The required hardware includes: 3x M3 4.5cm hex head screws 1x M3 6cm hex head screw 6x M3 3cm hex head screws 1x M3 12mm hex head screw 4x M3 nuts 2x M2 1cm hex head screws 2x 1/4-20 2 inch screws for the tripod extension 3x 3/8-16 to 1/4-20 adaptors.
